Objectives
Our objectives is to make Al-AHLI club at the top of rank not only locally, Arab region, but also at Continental. To reach our goals we have to build our proper plan and strategy. The next will cover all the aspects that will lead us to be number 1.

Club
§ Establish Permanent Income Sources
1. It is very important to have a permanent income source to avoid any future risks of money shortage. This will require to have a long term business project such as:
- Factory
- Mall
- Hospital, average yearly income 10%
- International Schools

2. Solutions of the Capital of business projects
Establishing such kind of a long term business requires enough capital. There are some recommendation of capital source:
§ VIP Members donations: The capital of the project to be distributed between the VIP members.
§ Club Audience donations
§ VIP Members & Club Audience donations
§ Bank loan with a real estate mortgage: The club can take a loan from the bank by mortgaging any real estate belongs to the club.


§ Establish Periodic Income Sources
1. Having different sponsors every year will add an income (Exist)
2. AL-AHLI Shop will add an income. (Exist)
3. Using the outdoor wall for an ads will add an income.
4. Placing and ads 0n the north side of the club stuff building at the east gate will add an income.
5. Health club subscription will add an income. (Exist)

Identifying the services and the strategy is very important between the club and the audience. Transparent is required

Football Team
1) Identify the Sanctions & Incentives List
To be success the club should have a Sanctions & Incentives List similar as the international professional clubs in Europe and South America. Implementing and executing this Sanctions & Incentives List is much important than just having it in shelf’s.

2) Establishing a Consultants & Experts Team

Job description
Having a consultants and experts to be a guidance in many processes of the club will enhance the performance of the football team and putting it in the success road. Job is not a full time job and it does not matter the geographic location but the availability after each match is required to meet together and sharing the analysis and the discussion.

Team members
Team members should be at least 3 persons and may contain non Saudi expert. Team should be a mix of old successes players and coaches.

Team Duties
1. Recommending the coach, foreign and local players based on a studied team needs.
2. Generate a periodic confidential evaluation report for the whole team (Coach, Players, Team Manager & Medical team).
3. Analyze each match and finding the mistakes and the weakness points. These remarks to be discussed with the coach based on agreement.

Team Qualifications & Skills
§ Minimum 10 years’ experience in sport as a player or management.
§ Excellent history in sport either as a coach, player or management.
§ Having a records as an Analyst in sport TV programs will add some advantage for the candidate one.

3) Foreign Players
Choosing the foreign players is a very crucial subject. It may be better to be selected by the coach but also it may be much better if we choose them based on our known needs. I think two positions we can choose by our self:
§ Play maker
§ Striker

These two players to be selected based on:
1) A good recent medical report
2) A recommendation from different resources
3) A Site visit by our qualified consultants to see a life matches for each player.

5) Coach & Technical Team
Coach should be selected based on a predetermined criteria:
1) He is known on training the players how to do the pressing in a professional way.
2) He is known with a strong personality.
3) He has a previous accomplishments.
4) He is known with a flexibility to change the philosophy and accept the discussions.
5) He is known on attack strategy and capable to change based on the conditions.
6) He is known of having his teams with a very high fitness.
7) It is recommended but not a must to be from South America.


6) Medical Team
We should separate the medical team from the technical team. Medical team should be selected by the club based on a certain criteria so we can replace it with another one much better in case of the selected one is not qualified. Mostly linking the medical team with the technical team will be a bottleneck if the team is not qualified and it will be much difficult to replace.

7) Management Team
The manager team should have also some characteristics:
§ Very Strong personality
§ Excellent in Communication skills and having certificate on communication will be much better.

8) Yearly Setup & Preparation
Always the location is not very important to do the Camp. While the training on the different plans and playing with a strong teams much required than travelling to overseas. Travelling to overseas will only break the routine but will add more expenses that we can avoid.

9) Contracts Hints
It’s a very big mistake when you share the penalty between the two sides (Club and the Player or the Coach). The reason is that always the club is the weakness point and that is once the player or the coach does not want to continue he may not doing well and therefore the Club has only two choices either to cancel the contract and pay the penalty or to be patient till the contract is end with no benefits.

The solution is:

§ To make the penalty only on the other side or to add a condition that gives the club the authority to cancel the contract with no penalty such as the monthly technical report and points should be above than 7 of 10 and if his monthly report score becomes less than 7 more than 3 times therefore the club has the authority to cancel the contract.

§ This solution should be mentioned as a term of the contract.

10) Psychologicalpreparation Strategy
We know that Psychological setup is very important to prepare the team especially before the important matches.
So, it will be much better if we sign a contract with a qualified Psychological specialist to do a sessions before each important match including the classic, derby, semifinal and final match.
