الوظيفة الاساسية لبرنامج ديب فريز deep freeze هو الحفاظ علي جهازك الشخصي من عبث الاخريين و عبث أطفالك في ملفات الجهاز بمعني أخر عند تنصيب برنامج ديب فريز Deep Freeze علي جهازك يقوم البرنامج بتجميد الاشياء التي تقوم بها مثل حذف و ازالة الملفات و البرامج , فاذا قمت بمسح ملف معين من جهازك و قمت باعادة تشغيل جهازك ستجد ان الملف كما هو لم يحذف. و هذا مهم جدا في حماية جهازك من الاختراقات و ملفات التروجان و الفيروسات, لأن اي فيروس ينزل علي جهازك من علي الانترنت ما هو الا عبارة عن ملف exe و يقم بتنصيب نفسه علي جهازك فاذا كنت تملك برنامج ديب فريز Deep Freeze تستطيع تجميد مثل هذه الاشياء لأنه بمجرد اعادة تشغيل جهازك بعد ذلك سيتم حذف هذه الفيروسات تلقائيا من خلال البرنامج
