واصل الفريق الأول لكرة الطاولة بنادي الاتحاد نتائجه الإيجابية في بطولة الأندية الخليجية بفوزه في ثاني لقاءاته في البطولة أمام فريق البحرين البحريني بنتيجة ثلاثة أشواط مقابل شوطين , ولم يشارك في اللقاء قائد الفريق اللاعب عبد العزيز العباد الذي تعرض لإصابة قبل اللقاء سيخضع على إثرها لمزيد من الفحوصات للتأكد من سلامته.
