FeatureCAM is intended for development of control programs for CNC machine tools. A distinctive feature of other FeatureCAM CAM systems is the high degree of automation in control programs. The system is the ability to FeatureCAM automatic recognition of standard elements of solid-state 3D-models and automatic processing of these elements using the system laid down in the technological knowledge base. Also present in the assembly Delcam PowerSHAPE - a powerful system of a hybrid 3D modeling for product design of complex forms and prepare CAD-models for manufacturing.

* Build or import item
* Identify the elements of the details (holes, pockets, grooves, surface milling, etc.)
* Create and simulate processing
* Generate NC code control program (UP)
The knowledge base processing technology increases the productivity of
FeatureCAM automatically:

* Calculates speeds and feeds, step and depth of cut
* Determines roughing and finishing operations
* Generates the trajectory processing and NC code control program

Delcam PowerSHAPE - a powerful system of a hybrid 3D modeling for product design of complex forms and prepare CAD-models for manufacturing. Combines the tools, frame, surface and solid modeling, with the possibility of working with reliefs and triangulated models.
The strongest part PowerSHAPE - this surface modeling and the opportunity to work with any data from all design packages. In contrast to 3D design packages, this creates an accurate model for the further transfer it into production. PowerSHAPE Pro in addition to the core functionality PowerSHAPE includes a set of tools for designers that includes tools fotorealistiki, morphing and blending of facet models.
